Publishers 
Undoubtedly, the XIX century became the golden age of Russian literature thought and publishing. "Russian book section" contains interesting materials about famous Russian literary men, publishers and publishing houses of the XIX – the beginning of XX century.
In «Gallery» subsection you can see portraits of famous Russian writers, poets, critics such as Pavel Vasil’evich Annenkov, Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov, Vladimir Fedorovich Odoevski, Aleksandr Sergeevich Pushkin… Date of birth and brief information is shown near the image. The text and the image is given according to the rare edition of 1859 “Portrait gallery of Russian literary men, journalists, artists and other outstanding people".
"Publishers" section tells about the most notable publishers of XIX – the beginning of XX century, Ivan Dmitrievich Sytin, Aleksei Sergeevich Suvorin, Mavrikii Osipovich Vol’f, etc…
In "Censorship" section you can see digitized images of forbidden books and images of censorial permissions.
